Geotechnical Engineering
The first step to begin your project on a firm foundation
Geotechnical explorations can provide geological information on your site by conducting soil borings to obtain the soil profile and the relevant engineering properties of the various soil strata through field and laboratory tests on the different soils. Using the soil boring data as well as other information, we will provide you a report of geotechnical engineering recommendations. This report provides an evaluation of the suitability of the site for your proposed project as well as design recommendations to accommodate the subsurface soil and groundwater conditions encountered at your site.
The following is a list of the geotechnical services which we can provide for your project:
- Site Reconnaissance
- Test Drilling
- In-situ Field Testing
- Iowa Borehole Shear Test
- Engineering Design
- Deep Foundations
- Slope Stability
- Landslide Evaluation
- Settlement / Heave Evaluations
- Pavement Design
- Laboratory Tests
- Unconfined Compressive Tests
- Falling Head Permeability
- Consolidation / Swell Tests
- Moisture Contents
- Grain Size Analysis
- Atterberg Limits
